At Norrskensudden we offer you Nordic living all year round. All of our cabins are carefully taken care of, full of charm and nordic culture. Every window views the lake, no matter what time in the year it is.

Holiday house

Holiday home in a peaceful and wonderful place by the lake. The house has a great view, only 50 meters to the water, and through the windows you can see the midnight sun brightly shining on the lake. The 2 story house has a large modern kitchen, master suite and bathroom with shower downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs; one with 2 single beds and the other with 4 single beds.    

Lakeside fireplace for a relaxing evening near the water.  The lake is great for fishing and swimming, and boats are available for rent.  Wood-fired sauna with fantasic lake views.  The area has plenty of outdoor activities and hiking trails with scenic vistas.  Numerous waterfalls, including Storforsen - the largest waterfall in Europe, are located nearby awaiting your discovery. The Arctic Circle is just an hour's drive away.
Bring your camera - a great experience is closer than you think!

Winter visitors can experience the Northern Lights (Aurora borealis), snow mobiling, downhill and cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, sled dogs and ice fishing.

Soldiers cottage

Rich with history, this charming cottage is lying on a peninsular, with the lake only 50 meters away. From the windows and outdoor table you`ll have a great view when the midnightsun shines over the lake.
The cottage has a double bed, table and chairs for two persons, some of the furniture is from the 18 th century. If neccecary, a wood burner will keep you warm.

Hunt lodge

This log cottage is similar to many that may be found in the forest throughtout the hunting areas of
northern Sweden. A great place to relax and rest after a day experiencing nature.  Configured with
a bunk bed, table & chairs, hot plate and storage cabinets, this cottage is simplicity at its best.
