Cape of Northern Lights, is a small owned family company exclusively run and operated by Sara and Magnus Bohlin. Together the Bohlin’s live with their three children at the complex consisting of small cottages that embodied true Nordic life and hospitality. The family would love for you to experience their lifestyle, love of the country and the local culture. They promise it is not like any where else in the world.

Sara and Magnus have woven their heritage into the local cottages they operate. You will experience the essence of Sara’s childhood growing up in Älvsbyn, a part of Swedish Lapland. You will experience the feeling of the power of the mighty Storforsen Falls and the Pite River. These two very unique landmarks are just around the corner from Cape of Northern Lights. These two symbols of the local area have not only shaped the local landscape, but Sara with how she has raised her family.

Magnus’s, is a proud Swede and one who has an impressive lineage that you will find in the old soldiers cottage on the grounds. Magnus has taken the beauty and strength of this rustic landscape and transformed it into an area that not only will make you feel warm and welcome, but one that will leaving wanting to return over and over.

While visiting Cape of Northern Lights, you will notice that, Sara runs the Inn the same way she has with her family; neat, orderly, efficient and a warm sense of home. Her gardens are well maintained and to be enjoyed by all…during the right season. You will find that she also tends to the cottages and make sure that everything you would need for your stay is available.
